Jessica Perez has over 8 years' experience as a legal assistant and paralegal. She was born in Mexico but her family relocated to Orlando, FL at the age of three. At 19 she moved to New York City to attend John Jay College of Criminal Justice where she obtained a degree in Forensic Science. After graduating, she moved back to Orlando, FL in 2007, where she began her career in the Defense Industry but was always interested and fascinated in law. In 2010 she started working for a boutique law firm in Kissimmee. She then moved on to a large Personal injury firm in Orlando. During this time she gained experience in an array of legal branches including but not limited to immigration, family, personal injury, medical malpractice and products liability.
Jessica joined Mr. Gibson at the firm of Michael T. Gibson, P.A. as a PIP Litigation Paralegal in 2016. Jessica handles a significant PIP caseload but also manages some personal injury and product liability files. Jessica is grateful for the blessings bestowed upon her in her life and is proud to continue to serve her community and clients.
In her spare time, Jessica loves to spend time with her teen daughter and their adorable cocker poodle. She also volunteers at the Coalition for Homeless and is involved in various community programs. She loves to read, cook and travel.
